Easily attach zippers and piping with the Adjustable Zipper and Piping Foot, which can be adjusted to the edge of the zipper or piping and will press the fabric with the ideal pressure for a perfect straight stitch. It is suitable for left or right seams with a single stitch opening.
- To attach the foot, start by screwing it on and selecting a straight stitch.
- Then position it over the long feed dogs on either side and loosen the clamp screw at the back.
- Slide the presser foot to make sure the needle fits in the opening of the presser foot.
- Check the needle does not hit the presser foot, then tighten the screw with a screwdriver and start sewing.
Please note: A low shank adapter is required to use this foot on high shank machines.
