We love to help people unleash their inner quirky!
The Quirky Quilting co. is a specialist quilting and patchwork shop in Springwood, Logan City. We are a family owned business dedicated to supporting the sewing and quilting communities of Logan City and beyond.
Currently owned and operated by self-confessed fabric addict Lisa Ng, The Quirky Quilting co. stocks quality and unique 100% cotton fabrics, high quality wadding & batting, plus a wide range of high quality quilting and patchwork tools and equipment.
At The Quirky Quilting co. we love, love, LOVE teaching people all about sewing and quilting and offer a range of classes including multi-level quilting classes as well as providing one on one sewing coaching for all skill levels.

A lifelong lover of colour, texture, and creativity, Lisa finds endless joy in the art of quilting. Surrounded by walls of vibrant fabrics with intricate patterns, quilting is more than a hobby—it’s a way to tell stories, preserve memories, and share your creativity. Lisa is passionate about building community, encouraging fellow quilters to share ideas, techniques, and inspiration. She believes that the magic of quilting grows when knowledge is shared, and she delights in teaching others, learning together, and celebrating each person’s unique creations. With every quilt, Lisa weaves together her love for fabric, her eye for detail, and her commitment to fostering connection, creating memories and friendships that are cherished for generations.
Abbie
Shop Manager
A passionate creator with a needle and thread or a sewing machine, Abbie finds endless joy in the art of sewing and quilting. Her love for fabric is matched only by her delight in discovering new patterns, textures, and colours—each piece sparking inspiration for her next project. Whether she’s piecing together a vibrant quilt or crafting a thoughtful handmade gift, she pours her heart into every stitch. Sharing her creations brings her the greatest happiness, as she believes that a handmade gift carries warmth, love, and a personal touch that can’t be found anywhere else. For Abbie, sewing isn’t just a hobby—it’s a way to spread joy, love, and creativity to everyone around her.
